Americans learn the truth now.
If you go to this web page you can learn even more about the health care reform bill. http://www.whitehouse.gov/health-care-meeting
Note: The President has made changes to the House and Senate Bills and has removed the public option. This, in my opinion, is a huge mistake.
Facts to be aware of.
Members of Congress do not pay for the individual services they receive at the OAP, nor do they submit claims through their federal employee health insurance policies. Instead, as of 2009, members pay a flat, annual fee of $503 for all the care they receive. The rest of the cost of their care is paid for by federal funding, from the U.S. Navy budget. The annual fee has not changed significantly since 1992.[4]

Nearly 45,000 Americans die each year from little or no access to health care
(source Harvard University)
Congress has access to over forty health care plans and one costs less than 533 dollars a year which has no out of pocket expenses after the yearly rate, not one penny.
The insurance industry made 817 billion dollars in 2009 ( while refusing treatment to clients, rejecting people because of pre-existing conditions , age, etc.)
The current salary (2010) for rank-and-file members of the House and Senate is $174,000 per year.
Members of Congress have access to those forty plans. The second they are sworn in as do their family members and members of Congress can't be denied because of any pre-existing conditions.
Many universal heath care systems worldwide include both private and public funding as well as public and private insures.

Reconciliation has been used in the Senate and House 22 times since 1981 16 times by the republican party. One must ask why they claim that the democrats using it for health care reform is wrong when they used it many times including for the Contract For America? And Tax Cuts on the wealthy in 2001.

Economic Growth and Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2001 | First Bush 43 tax cuts | -$512 billion | $40 billion |
The time to act for justice, fairness, and what is right is now, and we must not ever retreat in these duties.
